Manila Chooks visits Pacquiao, gets timely boost for Doha Masters

Sen. Manny Pacquiao along with BAVI President Ronald Mascarinas, coach Aldin Ayo and the players of the Manila Chooks TM.

Manila Chooks TM is marching towards Doha with the backing of the biggest Filipino sports icon.

"Manila Chooks TM, good luck sa inyong lahat," expressed Sen. Manny Pacquiao Friday evening.

"Ipaglaban niyo ang ating bansa. Dalhin niyo ang karangalan sa ating bansa. Proud kami at nakasuporta kami sa inyo."

The rechristened Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas team for FIBA 3x3 tournaments will go at it with the best of the best in the Doha Masters of the 2020 FIBA 3x3 World Tour beginning November 20.

That's why PH no. 1 Joshua Munzon, no. 2 Alvin Pasaol, no. 5 Troy Rike, and no. 6 Santi Santillan, together with head coach Aldin Ayo, can only welcome the words of encouragement from boxing's only eight-division world champion hailing from General Santos.

"Nagpapasalamat kami sa inyo, Sen. Pacquiao, for your support," said Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. president and 3x3 patron Ronald Mascarinas, reacting to the sendoff message just in time for when Manila Chooks TM departs for Qatar on Sunday.

"Malaking bagay ito sa ating players, yung motivation na binigay ninyo."

Alongside Pacquiao's backing, Munzon and co. are headed to Doha with their confidence as high as it has ever been, having conquered all challengers in the 2020 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 President's Cup powered by TM.
