Bretman Rock appeals for prayers for flood-hit Cagayan

Filipino-American YouTuber Bretman Rock took to Twitter to raise awareness concerning the massive flood that engulfed Cagayan Valley as caused by rains brought by Typhoon Ulysses.

He tweeted, "Praying for my home town in the Philippines, we were struck with 4 typhoons and childhood home is literally submerged underwater."

"I know there are so many things happening in the world right now, but I just thought I would bring some awareness to this #prayforcagayan," Bretman added.

A total of 156 barangays from 24 out of 29 areas in Cagayan are still flooded.

Due to Ulysses and the monsoon rains, authorities had to release excess water in Magat Dam after it reached critical levels, causing massive flooding in Cagayan and Isabela.
