Donnalyn Bartolome initiates rescue operations amid Typhoon Ulysses

Taking to Facebook on Thursday, the 26-year-old star asked for volunteers willing to help her rescue residents from the flood-stricken areas.

She wrote, "Marunong magsagwan at lumangoy, kahit magbayad ako. I’m buying boats na so let me know asap!"

"Need na ng help ng barangays dahil lagi na busy ang lines nila. God help those who need you please, please."

In mere hours, she and her ragtag team of volunteers were on their way.

She updated, "Rescuers are complete. Marikina* resident rescuers for Marikina* and Rizal Chairman will lead rescue for Rizal. They’ll just send proof of proper use ng boats solely for rescuing people and animals."

Donnalyn went on to thank her fans for the support.

She then assured, "Rest your hearts, we’ll get through this."
