Your '365 Days' sweetheart, Michele Morrone, is the new face of this fashion brand's latest campaign

If there’s any way we would want to “get lost,” it’s in Michele Morrone’s eyes. Inspiring a TikTok voice trend, growing a worldwide following, and even his stint in the soundtrack of his steamy Netflix film 365 Days that turned him into a sex symbol overnight, Morrone definitely earned a spot in the list of multi-faceted superstars to look out for this year.

But it’s only the beginning for the Italian actor and singer. Morrone has recently taken on the role as Guess’ new global face for its fall/winter 2020 collection. Unveiling on Nov. 2016, the lifestyle brand dressed him up in "elevated, classic, and high quality pieces in line with his personality,” so men can expect tailored neutral trench coats and button-downs with a pop of color.

Guess chief creative officer Paul Marciano supervised the holiday advertising campaign with the critical eyes of fashion photographer Nima Benati at the historic Villa Erba, once the home of renowned filmmaker Luchino Visconti, in Lake Como, Italy.

“I had a brief meeting with Michele at my hotel in Lugano last June and we immediately had a strong connection,” says Marciano. “Michele is an extremely hard worker, and a very ambitious and decisive man and these are all qualities I deeply appreciate. In a matter of minutes, we knew we were going to work together and a few weeks after that very first meeting we met again in Lake Como to shoot these spectacular images.”

Morrone, on the other hand, says he found a new mentor and friend in Marciano. “We share the same values and goals. It’s an incredible feeling being able to have fun on set doing what I love, while having a sense of comfort that I’m now part of such an amazing family,” he says. Family and loyalty are important to me, and I want to take this brand and treat it as my own.”

Guess Men's fall/winter collection is available this Nov. 16.
