Is former broadcaster Jay Sonza throwing shade at television host Korina Sanchez-Roxas?
This was the question of some netizens after Sonza shared a post on Facebook Nov. 11 with clues apparently associated with Sanchez-Roxas.
"May karapatan o may K bang magbansag o tumawag ng pangit ang isang retokada? Ito ang ating "rated" na tanong ngayong umaga," Sonza asked.
Netizens said that the words "K" and "rated" have always been associated with Sanchez-Roxas, in reference to her magazine show "Rated K ."
Sonza was apparently referring to an incident when Sanchez-Roxas clashed with some netizens on their opinions related to the recent US presidential election.
It all started when Sanchez-Roxas posted a photo of US President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on Instagram. It was captioned: "A new day in America. A new day in the world. Welcome back.”
The photo caption did not sit well to some netizens. Sanchez-Roxas said: “Ah eh the whole world has an opinion about how Trump conducts himself. That is his undoing. You can’t stop opinions so please learn to respect.”
Then a netizen asked: “Korina, bakit ka binitiwan ni Noynoy? Dahil ba sa plastic surgery ng face mo after your car accident?”
Sanchez-Roxas answered: “Ahhhh baket ampanget mo? Dahil ba panget din ang parents mo?”
She continued: "Ah hindi po ako BOBO. Yan ang gusto ko respetuhin mo din noh! Please leave. BRUHA KA.”
Another netizen commented: “Si ate koring talaga ang maldita sa mga bashers nya, ayaw patalo!!!! I love you talaga ms. koring!!!”
Sanchez-Roxas replied: “Hay ambabastos eh.”
