Spice Girls may tour US for the last time - report

I tell you what you want, what you really really want!

For the last time, the British girl group Spice Girls may tour the US and they want to do it with Victoria Beckham or Posh.

This was revealed by Sporty Spice Melanie C in a report by entertainment website mirror.co.uk after failing to agree gigs during last year’s shows.

“We love being in the USA and have had so many great times there doing TV shows and promotional stuff. And we so want to get back there," said Melanie C.

The last time the popular girl group played in the US was in 2008 where they performed to a sell-out crowd in Hartford, Connecticut.

Aside from Melanie C and Beckham, joining the possible 25th anniversary tour in the US tour next year are Mel B, 46, Geri Horner, 47, and Emma Bunton, 44.

“We do not have any plans, but we are hooking up quite soon and that needs certain discussion," said Mel C, during an interview on NBC Access show.

She added: “We need things to look forward to and we can make good plans for something positive in the future.”

It was also reported that the supergroup may hit Europe and Australia in 2021. There are also plans of making another movie about the group, the follow-up to their 1997 debut film "Spice World."

Formed in 1994, Spice Girls is the biggest selling female-group of all time selling more than 85 million records worldwide.

In the US, the group went to No. 1 with "Wannabe." Their debut CD "Spice" also went to the top of the Billboard album chart.

Spice Girls went to No. 1 in the UK nine times. Other hit songs of the group are: "Say You'll Be There," "Two Become One," "Spice Up Your Life," "Viva Forever," "Too Much," "Mama," etc.
