'Party in the USA' climbs music charts anew in celebration of Joe Biden's win


Miley Cyrus' 2009 hit single "Party in the USA" has begun charting again on Saturday following Joe Biden's win.

The streets of American saw a massive wave of happiness as people went outside to celebrate Biden's victory.

By winning 284 electoral college votes, Biden became the new President of the United States of America. He defeated Donald Trump to become the 46th President of the USA.

Cyrus also reacted to her song's reemergence via Twitter and shared her excitement over Biden-Kamala Harris win: "Now this is a party in the USA!"

The 27-year old singer also retweeted numerous videos shared by fans, showing people in the streets jamming and singing along to the track.

Chart Data reported "Party in the USA" had broken through the iTunes Top 200 chart in the US.

The "Party in the USA" debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 when it debuted back in 2009.
