According to IA administrator Atty. Guiller Asido, Intramuros will be lighting up the historic Fort Santiago, Intramuros’ main square Plaza Roma, as well as the streets of the Spanish citadel.

“We also sent letters to all establishments if we can have the lights up as well on those days, including the Golf Course,” he said.

Asido added that the IA is also finalizing the guidelines for the annual “Simbang Gabi” or the devotional nine-day series of masses with the heads of Manila Cathedral and San Agustin Church which will be released within the week.

He said Intramuros will still abide with the guidelines issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IAF-EID) with regard to the allowed carrying capacity of tourism sites under general community quarantine (GCQ) classification.

The IATF previously said Metro Manila, Batangas, Iloilo City, Bacolod City, Tacloban City, Iligan City, and Lanao del Sur will remain under GCQ until Nov. 30.
