But these were dampened by a report one fatality due to the coronavirus ailment on Sunday.

He was swabbed on October 31, and died on November 7.

The total number of COVID-19 recoveries in the province is now at 842 while 779 are still recovering.

Diclas continues to coordinate with the different local government units to address issues brought about by the sudden increase in the number of COVID-19 cases.

He has visited Itogon and Tuba, and is now coordinating with Bakun officials and continues to remind the public to strictly adhere to all health protocols to avoid contracting the disease.

As of 12 p.m., November 8, the Provincial Health Office (PHO) reported 37 more individuals contracting the virus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,636.
