Maj. Tyrone Valenzona, the Makati Assistant chief of police for operations (ACOPO) identified the suspects as Raul Berdos, 47, and Glennford Alas, 50, both residents of Pasay City.

Members of the Makati Police Tactical Motorcycle Rider Unit (TMRU) said the pillion rider was not wearing a helmet prompting them to flag down the riders on Calatagan St. in Barangay Palanan, Makati. But instead of stopping, Berdos and Alas sped off.

The suspects were nabbed after a short chase. When frisked, the arresting officers found five sachets containing shabu from the suspects with a street value of P107, 440.

"This is in compliance with the order of NCRPO chief Major General Sinas to boost up Tactical Motorcycle Riding Units for safer streets in Metro Manila," he said.

"Here in Makati, we are doing everything to ensure the safety of the public. We will continue intensifying our anti-criminality operations here," Valenzona added.
