MPL PH champion Bren, five others join ONE Esports Invitational

Philippine champion Bren Esports and five other top local teams vie for supremacy against Southeast Asian counterparts in the $100,000-ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro League (MPL) Invitational slated November 27 to December 6. 

Bren, winner of the MPL-PH Season 6, will banner the Filipino flag along with runner-up Smart Omega and third-place finisher Execration in the 20-team, five-nation tournament. 

Two-time winner Aura PH, Onic PH and Blacklist International complete the Filipino cast in the two-week invitational. 

The PH squads will battle it out with the powerhouse squads from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Myanmar. 

MPL-ID titlist RRQ Hoshi will lead the fight for the region together with silver finisher Alter Ego, M1 world champion Evos Legends, Bigetron Alpha, Aura Fire, Geek Fam, Genflix Aerowolf and Onic Esports. 

Representing the MPL-MY/SG are Malaysian champ Todak, Singaporean runner-up Evos SG, Orange Louvre and Resurgence. 

Rounding out the invited teams are MPL-Myanmar victor Burmese Ghouls and finalist Ronin Esports. 

Established by ONE Esports in collaboration with MLBB developer Moonton, the MPL Invitational is seen as the biggest international tilt since the M1 World Championship last year. 

The tournament will be streamed through Facebook, Twitch, Youtube and Twitter.
