The pain of a grieving mom who lost her child will never go away
No one can understand the pain of a mother who lost her child. No wonder, Heart Evangelista didn’t step back when, out of nowhere, a netizen commented on one of her Instagram posts, saying that the actress-model needs to have her own child.
On a typical day of Nov. 5, Heart shared a photo on her Instagram account. Looking fab on a beautiful day in Paris with her black dress paired with a brown handbag from Sequioa, and black high heels shoes, the actress caption this photo with “From Paris, with love.”
This fashionable photo gained good feedbacks from celebrities, different personalities, and her followers, then suddenly, a netizen left an out of context comment. “You need a baby in your life,” she says.
This short comment didn’t sit well with the actress. Somehow, this comment brings back painful memories, and she didn’t hesitate to give a long and meaningful response. “Having a miscarriage is the most traumatizing feeling,” Heart says. “I carried my twins four months after because my doctor wanted me to naturally go through the process.”
It can be recalled that back in 2018, Heart and her husband former Senator Chiz Escudero lost their twins in a miscarriage. “It was the most horrible feeling thinking maybe God can bring them back to me ... or me thinking am I not a good person for this to happen,” she continues. “Having babies is for sure a blessing or just actually being able to feel that you can love someone even if you haven’t met them.”
She then reveals how their family prepared for kids, from the baby equipment, nursery room to names. “I had a stroller, a baby room and a name. My babies already had a life prepared for them,” she says. To be reminded of this devasting experience is a horrible and Heart clearly expressed it as she continues with her response.
“Now me trying after a year or so is my choice but me not having a baby as of the moment is God’s choice and I wouldn’t want to question that - now coming to my ig and posting a comment on a pic that has nothing to do with that is hurtful,” the Kapuso actress says. “To even ask or shove it down my throat is unthinkable or doesn’t say much about you as a woman. Is it because people like to hurt others nowadays just to make their lives seem better?”
But despite the painful loss she went through, Heart says that she is happy with her life. “Baby or not I am very happy with my life,” she says. “I have a loving family, a HOME. A solid relationship with God. Contentment is what I have and that my dear is hard to achieve.”
