LINGAYEN -- The capital town of Pangasinan registered two new positive cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in two women who just gave birth.
The Municipal Health Office (MHO) said Patient # 90, 35 years old, is from Barangay Baay, Lingayen. She was swab tested last October 31, 2020 as a hospital requirement for cesarean delivery.
Her test result was released on November 3, 2020 while she was experiencing abdominal pain and under strict isolation at Region 1 Medical Center.
Patient # 91, 31, of Barangay Poblacion, Lingayen, was swab tested on October 31, 2020 as a hospital requirement for normal delivery. She is asymptomatic and under strict isolation at the same hospital.
The MHO advised the public to continue following the health protocols implemented by the government such as the wearing of face masks and face shields, observing social distancing, and frequent hand washing. (Liezle Basa Inigo)
