“Girl Power” was in full force Wednesday as Senator Imee R. Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte joined hands to assist residents in five provinces that were hardest hit by super typhoon ‘’Rolly.’’
Marcos and Duterte first arrived by chopper in Legazpi City, Albay at 10 a.m. and then proceeded to Naga City, Camarines Sur, distributing relief goods.
Vice President Leni Robredo is from Naga City.
Marcos’ younger brother, former Senator Ferdinand ‘’Bongbong’’ R. Marcos Jr., has a pending electoral protest against Robredo over the last 2016 vice presidential race.
The Marcos-Duterte tandem also visited Marinduque, Batangas, and Quezon.
