Sandra Lemonon claims she's received death threats

Four days after the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 pageant, top 16 finisher Sandra Lemonon claimed in her Instagram story on Thursday that she's getting death threats after she sparked controversy during the inaugural pageant.

"I have death threats and people telling me I'm stupid and etc," said Lemonon."When all I want is to protect us girls and have fair treatment. Hai."

Lemonon has earlier threatened to disclose the truth about the Miss Universe Philippines. Pageant fans however have been waiting in vain for the revelations of the candidate from Taguig City.

“Get ready loves, tomorrow I will be announcing big news, it’s time to be honest & speak facts,” Lemonon shared on her Instagram story last Sunday.

Fans said that Lemonon has been sharing cryptic messages on social media.

In one of her posts, Clint Bondad, former boyfriend of Miss Universe Catriona Gray, reacted and wrote: "Sandra, at least be original.”
