Charo Santos feels blessed as she turns 65

As she got a year older recently, seasoned actress Charo Santos couldn't help but get emotional as she thanked all the blessings in life.

"As I turn 65, I can only reflect on the goodness of God with all the blessings that He bestowed upon me," said Charo, as she looks back on her journey of triumphs and trials, wins and losses, favors and failures yet she knows that she could not have survived it alone.

"And my heart is filled with warmth knowing that I was always being guided every step of the way," she said.

Then the "Maalaala Mo Kaya" said she is grateful to have "lived, loved, and learned," and all the more thankful that she is continually living, loving, and learning.

"Thank you for all your well wishes, for all the gifts, and most importantly, for all the love you all have showered me!!! It’s so good to be 65!," she ended her post along with the hashtags: "#CharosReflections" and "#CharoAt65."

Her colleagues in show business have sent her warm messages.

Actress Bea Alonzo and her co-star in 2018 film "Eerie" shared how the "amazing woman" is "timeless."

"Your beauty and grace will always be my inspiration to do better in this business. Miss you!"

Young star Julia Barretto also attested how Charo also motivated her.

"You have inspired me and pushed me to be the best version of myself. It is how you believed in me that made me start to believe in myself and strive for more. I am always inspired to do good in every work in the hopes to make you proud," she wrote. "What a beautiful soul."

Singer-actress Vivoree Esclito and former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate also thanked the veteran artist for the "guidance" and "pieces of advice."

"We love you," she said.

Piolo Pascual and Ronnie Alonte greeted Charo on their respective social media accounts.
