Robredo announced on her personal Facebook page that she is scheduled to undergo a swab test tomorrow after exposure to a COVID-19 case last week.

“We were exposed Wednesday morning and will be swabbed tomorrow, the 7th day since our exposure, which was what the doctor recommended,” she said.

The vice president added she is praying and hoping for negative results.

Robredo’s chief of staff Undersecretary Philip Dy and some of her staff are also under self-quarantine following a close contact to a coronavirus-positive individual.

“All of us who were exposed are on self quarantine and are observing all the necessary protocols,” she said.

This is not the first time Robredo was exposed to a person with COVID-19. In July, operations at her office were suspended after four of its staff members contracted the virus. She was also tested and was found negative.

The opposition stalwart gave her heartfelt thanks to those who prayed for her safety.

“ Been receiving a lot of messages. Thank you for your prayers. I have no symptoms at all,” she said.
