Over 20,000 jobs in the business sector, technology, and service industry are now available to individuals looking for employment, Vice President Leni Robredo said on Monday.
Robredo said interested applicants may visit the job listings platform Sikap.PH, where the job vacancies are posted and can be accessed.
“May 20,129 na trabaho na po tayong available sa sikap.ph. Kung naghahanap po kayo ng trabaho, puwede niyong tingnan dito yung mga klase ng trabahong available,” she said in a Facebook post.

“Puwede din po kayong dumirecho sa sikap.ph site para mag-apply. Kung kailangan niyo po ng tulong, sa application process, magmessage lang po sa amin para matulungan namin kayo,” she added.

Several Filipinos have found themselves unemployed when the COVID-19 pandemic forced some companies to close either temporarily or for good.
Nevertheless, Robredo’s office initiated the job listing website to provide employment opportunities to displaced workers.
Some 265 employers are offering jobs in Metro Manila, Batangas, Laguna, Cebu, Cavite, Rizal, Benguet, and Pampanga, among others.
Apart from the business sector, workers are also needed in the medical industry, aviation, and education.
