De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s (CSB) School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPacE) will be offering a “Governance, Risk Management, and Cybersecurity” certificate course this week.
The seminar-workshop gives a rundown of theories, approaches, practices, and all technical know-how of cybersecurity. Aside from discussing the different threats and how to avoid them, it will tackle the difference between governance and management so that business owners can customize both protective and preventive policies that align with their operations and personnel.
These lectures, which can be attended within the safety and comfort of your own home, are facilitated by Information Technology expert Luis Jacinto, MBA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, PIE, CPISI, the retired chief information security officer (CISO) of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC).

With over 36 years of experience, Jacinto has served as a training professional and educator for 28 years. He has been named Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Professional Industrial Engineer (PIE), and Certified Payment Card Industry Security Implementer (CPISI).
Jacinto is the founding member and vice president of Information Security Officers Group (ISOG), a Philippine-based organization of senior-level information and cybersecurity professionals.
