WATCH: ‘The Promised Neverland’ live action trailer is out


This set to hit our screens this December 18

After releasing a teaser video in August, the first full trailer for the much-awaited live action adaptation movie of The Promised Neverland is finally here. 

Based on a manga series with the same title written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu, The Promised Neverland follows the story of a group of kids living in an orphanage called Grace Field House. 

Happy and peaceful inside the orphanage under the wings of their guardian Isabella, the kids had their lives disrupted when their leader Emma together with her friends Ray and Norman discover a dark truth about what happens to children who are sent for adoption. 

The three intelligent kids start to plot their escape from the house together with their friends. 

Directed by Yūichirō Hirakawa (Erased, Rookie), The Promised Neverland is set to premiere on Dec. 18. But while waiting for the movie, you can watch the anime series adaptation of The Promised Neverland manga available on Netflix.
