The Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital (JJASGH) reopened its maternity and pediatric wards to the public Monday after closing it for two-days.
But the hospital is still not accepting patients at its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as it remains at full capacity.
The JJASGH management urged Manila residents to go to other nearby district hospitals.
The city government's other district hospitals are Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center at District 1, Ospital ng Tondo at District 2, Ospital ng Sampaloc at District 4, Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center at District 5, and Sta. Ana Hospital at District 6.
Non-Manila residents are advised to go to hospitals near their residence.
The hospital closed the two wards on Saturday, October 10 after its maternity ward hit a 160-percent occupancy rate while its non-coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) hit a 100-percent occupancy rate.
This is the fourth time that JJASGH closed their maternity and pediatrics ward.
