BACOOR CITY, Cavite - The city government has started distributing 11,500 tablets to public school students in grades 10 to 12.
The units were formally turned over by Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla to the Department of Education Bacoor school heads on Monday.
The local government unit had earlier turned over 885 laptops to public school teachers. Schools were also given risograph machines and other equipment needed to print, copy, and distribute learning modules.
It plans to complete the distribution of tablets to the students within the week.
