18-yr-old who just gave birth found positive for COVID-19

PANGASINAN – An 18-year-old, who just gave birth, tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in San Fabian town here.

The patient was reportedly brought to the hospital after experiencing labor pains, and later had normal delivery of her baby.

But according to the local government, when the hospital conducted a reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test on her, she was found to be infected with the virus.
