This after Bren put up an impressive campaign in the group stage of the 10-team online Regional Major Rankings (RMR) tournament that stakes $100,000 (nearly P5 million) in prize pool.

Composed of Chris "Pro." Martir, Deko "Papi Chulo" Evangelista, Riley "Witz" Go, Patrick "Derek" Lacson, Johnty "JA" Arone and Elmer "micr0" Coloma, Bren garnered 12 points on a record of four wins against five defeats, enough to seize the sixth and final seed at the conclusion of the group stage on Sunday.

After suffering a 0-2 sweep to ViCi Gaming (13-16 in Train and 14-16 in Nuke) and a 1-2 loss to Tiger (16-12 in Dust 2; 9-16 in Mirage; 9-16 in Train) to start its campaign, Bren bounced back big with a sweep over CHECKMATE (16-2 in Train and 19-15 in Inferno).

The Filipino squad made its final push in the closing third week, upsetting Invictus Gaming, 2-1 (16-11 in Inferno; 13-16 in Train; 16-12 in Dust 2) and crushing ZIGMA, 2-0 (16-10 in Train and 16-14 in Mirage) following a 0-2 loss to After Gaming (10-16 in Inferno and 17-19 in Train).

Bren will face third seed TIGER of Mongolia in the first round of the upper bracket on Friday at 4 p.m. Invictus Gaming and CHECKMATE will tangle in the other first round pairing while top teams TYLOO and ViCi were seeded in the second round.

The PH side entered this qualifying tilt for CS:GO Major Championships after a great run in the Open Qualifier #2.
