The Francis "Ducky" Glindro-coached team also arranged a quarterfinal match-up against Group A's fourth seed Nexplay Solid.

Karl Gabriel "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno's Lancelot powered Bren's 19-8 victory in 10 minutes in the series opener.

KarlTzy unloaded more than 73,000 damage to finish with a perfect record of nine kills and eight assists.

Allan "Lusty" Castromayor's Selena hit Zach "S3cret" Gabionza's Lancelot with an Abyssal Arrow to set up Bren's game-changing clash victory against the spirited Blu Fire in the 15th minute of the second game.

After taking the Lord, KarlTzy's Claude and the rest of Bren picked off Blu Fire one after another before closing out the game in 17 minutes.

Earlier in the game day opener, Blacklist enjoyed an easy Game 1 victory but Cignal struck back to tie the series.

Arvie "AQUA" Antonio's Yu Zhong carried Blacklist to a team fight triumph in the 30th minute that allowed them to take the third Lord and finish the series in nearly 32 minutes.

Blacklist surpassed two-time defending champion Aura Philippines at the top of Group A with 22 points.

Despite the loss, Cignal captured the last playoff spot with its 11 points in Group B after Execration bested BSB, 2-0, in the final series of Week 7.

Execration tied Aura with 21 points while BSB bowed out of playoff contention with only six markers to show.
