Negros Oriental has new acting police director


BACOLOD CITY - The Police Regional Office 7 (PRO 7) has designated a new acting provincial police director in Negros Oriental on Friday.

Col. Bryant Demot officially assumed his post at the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (Norppo) effective October 2.

This was confirmed by Chief Master Sgt. Edelberto Euroba III, Negros Oriental police public information officer.

Demot replaced Col. Arnel Banzon, who served the province for five months starting on May 27.

Before his assignment in the province, Demot was previously assigned at the Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division of PRO-1 in Ilocos Region.

PRO-7 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Albert Ignatius Ferro presided over the turnover of command at the regional headquarters in Cebu City.
