Hannah Precillas shows a different side of her

Kapuso OST Princess Hannah Precillas is all set to show a different side of her via the latest musical offering under GMA Music entitled "Sabi Ko Na Nga Ba.”

Composed by Jerry Olaguer, this upbeat and novelty song proves that Hannah can go beyond her typical ballad and birit genre. It narrates the sappy story of a person who can’t express his/her romantic feelings to another.

“This song is telling us that whenever we have something that should be told, take the opportunity to tell that person when you still have the chance. Because one of the hardest things in life is not doing or saying what you really want at the moment and regretting it in the future where you don’t have any chance to go back and do what you should’ve done,” says Hannah.

The Kapuso artist also shares that she can somehow relate to the song since it speaks about so many aspects other than romance. It can also be a wake up call among listeners to encourage them to share their true feelings.

Asked if she has been into this kind of situation, Hannah says: "Maraming beses na po. Mahirap talaga kasi yung hindi mo mailabas kung ano talaga yung gusto mong sabihin. Kaya siguro, as much as possible, masabi natin ang gusto natin sabihin kasi kung hindi natin gagawin yun, tutoo pala talaga iyong kasabihan na nasa huli ang pagsisisi."

Hannah, praised by fans for doing ballads, admitted that she was hesitant at first to do "Sabi Ko Na Nga Ba' for fear that her fans may not like it.

"Medyo kinabahan ako noong sinabi sa akin ito. Kasi baka hindi nila magustuhan. Pero noong ipinarinig na nila sa akin, sabi ko go! I-record natin yan," she said.

There's a clamor from her fans for her to join "All-Out Sunday," the weekly variety program of GMA 7 and she's just thrilled about it.

"Nakakatuwa rin na gusto nila akong mapasama sa show. Gusto ko rin kasi iyong madalas akong nakikita sa TV. Sana nga po ay mapasama tayo," she said.

Hannah said that she would like to do a duet with Julie Anne San Jose when the time comes for her to join the variety show.

"Na-mi-miss ko na si Julie. Siya ang madalas kong kakulitan," she said.

Hannah said the pandemic allowed her to do more things and grow as an artist.

"Lagi po akong naghahanap ng mga puwedeng gawin. Minsan Tik-Tok pati na rin sa ibang social media platform. Meron kasi kaming small business so tumutulong po ako roon. Nagluluto ako at gumagawa ng cover songs," she said.

Hannah was expected to do gigs in Indonesia early this year but they were all cancelled. "Nandiyan pa rin naman ang mga offer sa Indonesia so pag clear na ang lahat sa pandemic, itutuloy pa rin iyon."
