After a long wait, the roll-out of the National ID system is about to become a reality, Sen. Panfilo M. Lacson said today.
‘’PSA (Philippine Statistics Authority) says registration is voluntary. That’s the intent of the law,’’ he stressed.
"Those who choose not to have an identity do not exist, period. It is that simple,’’ Lacson, author of the national ID system law, added.
