BACOOR CITY, Cavite - The city government and the Department of Education distributed on Monday (Sept. 28) 885 laptops to teachers as part of preparations for the upcoming opening of classes.
The devices will be used for distance learning as schools are restricted from holding face-to-face classes to help curb the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Aside from a laptop, each teacher also received a headset, a computer mouse, and a laptop bag.
The city government is also set to give out 12,000 tablets to public school students in Grades 10, 11, and 12.
