Aussie nabbed for cybersex operation in Cagayan de Oro City


Police have arrested a 42-year old Australian accused of hiring female minors for alleged cybersex operation in a raid in Cagayan de Oro City on Wednesday.

Australian Matthew Aaron Clement was arrested along with 29-year old Julius Mandawe in Barangay Canitoan in Cagayan de Oro City at around 5 p.m. Two minors were also rescued during the operation.
 
Brig. Gen. Rolando Anduyan, director of the Northern Mindanao regional police, said the operation stemmed from a tip-off about the cybersex operation of a foreigner.
 
“Allegedly, he is hiring female minors to his rented house and force them to use illegal drugs and forced to have sex with them while taking their pictures and videos and uploaded them online,” said Anduyan.
 
“They were subjected to a one-month surveillance before our operating team raided the house,” he added.
 
Seized inside the rented house of the suspects were several sex toys, cellphones, and two pieces of unsealed transparent sachet containing traces of white crystalline residues and various drug paraphernalia. 
 
The suspects were charged with various criminal cases which includes violation of Anti-Cybercrime Law and exploitation of minors.
