Just a typical runway show, until Coco dives into the pool wearing couture.
Supermodel Coco Rocha never fails to wow everyone with her runway performance. From walking down the runway with her daughter to her hype encounter with actress Leslie Jones, seeing Coco on the catwalk is among the many hallmarks of New York Fashion Week (NYFW). And this pandemic, the 32-year-old model didn’t disappoint!
Closing for fashion designer Christian Siriano’s NYFW spring 2021 show, the seven-month pregnant Coco wore a turtleneck top with a taffeta high-low skirt with a ruffled hemline, and a wide brim hat and face mask to match the couture creation, all in a vivid shade of red. But when it was time for the usual runway curtain call, she decided to break the routine and took a dip in Christian's pool.
“Crossing the bridge was fine. Walking on grass, easy. But since this was my only show during NYFW, I thought, let’s change things up,” Coco said. “So I decided to get in the pool, Christian said it was warm, so why not?”
Wet and carrying drenched couture while pregnant, only Coco could pull that off.
