Filipino animated film 'Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story' coming to Netflix in October

The first animated Netflix film from the Philippines is arriving on the streaming platform next month.

“Hayo Ka! The Ninja Dimaano Story” features the voices of Angelica Panganiban, Sam Milby and Robin Padilla.

Set in the world populated by anthropomorphic animals, the film follows the story of Nimfa (Panganiban), a cat  who sells perfume at a department store.

She has a boyfriend, Roger (Padilla), who works as a janitor, but the relationship gets complicated after Nimfa meets Iñigo Villanueva (Milby), a “bourgeoisie business dog.”

The voice ensemble also includes Employ Marquez, Piolo Pascual, Arci Muñoz, Eugene Domingo, Yeng Constantini, Moira dele Torre, and Bb Joyce Bernal.

The Avid-Liongoren film is set to premiere on Netflix on Oct. 29.
