"Another one for you, Dad."
This is what Yassi Pressman said, dedicating her TV Supporting Actress of the Year award to her late father, crediting him as her "inspiration."
Yassi won the plum last February at the The 51st Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Box Office Entertainment Awards for her portrayal of Alyana/Kapitana in the hit ABS-CBN series "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano."
Yassi also extended her gratitude to "every single person who has been a pillar in my life."
"People who didn't doubt me but instead said 'Kaya mo yan,'" she related, adding, "Mahal ko po kayo."
Yassi also thanked the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation for the recognition.
"Salamat po sa opportunity na patuloy niyo pong binibigay sa akin. At salamat sa inpirasyon para patuloy kong paghirapan ang aking trabaho. We are blessed to even be working in these times, and I will forever be grateful."
She didn't forget to thank her family, VIVA, Dreamscape, ABS-CBN, and the cast and crew of "Ang Probinsyano."
"Thank you. I love you guys," she said.
Yassi celebrated her fourth year in "Ang Probinsiyano" last August.
