Angel Locsin denies alleged breakup with Neil Arce

A seemingly irate Angel Locsin has come out to address persistent tattle about her and fiancé Neil Arce having supposedly split.

On Instagram, the actress posted thumbnails of the videos detailing the supposed breakup, writing as caption: “Fake News.”

She went on to add, “Oh wow. Can’t believe some people would stoop this low.”

“Why do some people make this much effort to put me in a bad light?

“That is the question.”

Arce, on his part, tried to make light of the issue, posting on Instagram, “Muntikan nako maging victim ng fake news. Buti hindi Neil Arci ang pangalan ko.”

The film producer-director is referring to the wrong spelling of his family name as used by those who uploaded the malicious videos.

Locsin and Arce made public their relationship February of 2018.

They announced their engagement June 20 last year.

Locsin bid adieu showbiz work thereafter explaining to fans she needed to focus on preparations for their wedding, originally scheduled early this year.

The two have since put a halt on their plans amid the ongoing pandemic.

They are now working together on “Iba ‘Yan," a public service show, with Locsin as host and Arce as program director.
