GENERAL SANTOS CITY- Police authorities have taken into custody a 16-year-old houseboy, who allegedly raped and killed his 45-year-old employer last Saturday.
P/Major Ruelito Lumiguid, Police Station 3 Commander here, said the suspect was arrested during a hot pursuit operation in nearby Polomolok town in South Cotabato after he allegedly raped and murdered his employer Darlyn Tupas inside the victim’s residence in Denoga Subdivision, Barangay Lagao, this city.
Police said the suspect broke into the victim’s room where he sexually molested the victim while she was sleeping, and bludgeoned her to death with the use of a hammer.
Investigation revealed that the suspect had worked as a houseboy with the victim’s family for almost four months.
Police are set to turn over the suspect to the City Social Welfare and Development Office for proper disposition.
