Online platform offers Intramuros virtual tour

As the COVID-19 pandemic prevents people from traveling leisurely, an online learning platform is now offering a fully-virtual learning experience to promote Filipino culture and society. 

The Intramuros Administration has partnered with online learning platform Suyomano and local tour guide Don’t Skip Manila to let eager travelers experience iconic Intramuros in a first-ever virtual tour. 

The program will let viewers explore the timeless beauty of the Spanish citadel as the virtual tour guides take them through more than 400 years of history.

This virtual tour will also feature the rich history of Manila, the Pearl City, and how it has evolved into the modern and vibrant city that it is today. 

Before the pandemic, various groups have been offering walking tours inside the Walled City to promote the rich history of Intramuros to both local and foreign tourists.
