2 lotto winners receive prizes

Two Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office lottery jackpot winners received their prizes today.

PCSO General Manager Royina Garma awarded a check to a 73-year-old pensioner from La Union who won the P49,707,326 jackpot in the Lotto 6/42 draw with the winning numbers 3-11-6-19-33-10 on Sept. 3.

PCSO said that the pensioner had six children.

“According to him, after he bought his lotto tickets, he cannot sleep well for two days because he was thinking that he mistakenly shaded another number instead of his original choice,” PCSO said. “Then it turned out that his little mistake would give him the biggest payoff he ever imagined,” it added.

Garma also awarded a check to a lone winner from Marikina City who bagged the P24,042,363.80 jackpot in the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw with the winning combination 37-7-34-17-5-27 on Sept. 7.

The PCSO suspended gaming operations in March due to the ongoing public health situation and resumed lottery games last month.
