Christina Aguilera releases new rendition of 'Reflection'

Christina Aguilera released a new rendition of "Reflection," a song for Disney's live-action remake of "Mulan."

The track's original studio version was recorded by Aguilera in 1998 for the animated film "Mulan."

The 39-year old singer celebrated the remake of the hit track on her Instagram.

"I am at a place of new beginnings in my life and set out to embrace the woman I've become, having grown up in this business, til now," Aguilera wrote.

"So this song always resonated and represents exciting and new chapters and energy for me. I hope you enjoy this fresh new take of Reflection," she added.

The Grammy-winning singer thanked Disney for being "a special family" and for providing personal and public moments dear to Aguilera's heart.

Aguilera also recorded the new song "Loyal True Blue" for the remake.

"Mulan" was originally slated to premiere in theaters in March but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film will now be released Sept. 4 on Disney+.
