Sean Gibbons laughed off Bob Arum’s remarks regarding a possible fight between Manny Pacquiao and unbeaten Terence Crawford.

The MP Promotions president took to social media after seeing anESPN Ringside tweet containing an art card of Arum’s comments.

Arum told ESPN’s Steve Kim that “I don’t think (Pacquiao-Crawford) is going to be possible this year, maybe next year.”

Gibbons didn’t make any comments in response, only tweeting a GIF or animated picture showing a cellphone containing the words “Calling… b___s___.”

The Top Rank CEO had earlier hinted at a possible Pacquiao-Crawford showdown in the Middle East, specifically in Bahrain.

But Arum recently told Peter Maniatis on the KO Boxing Show in Australia that health authorities thumbed down the plans because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“Everything had been approved, but the Ministry of Health in that country said ‘No, not this year. It had to be next year’ because of the coronavirus,” said Arum.

For now, Arum said Crawford will definitely fight in November, likely against Englishman Kell Brook, under a bubble setup in Las Vegas.
