Celebrity couple Gwen Zamora and David Semerad remember with fondness the time spent at their farm in Batangas during the early part of the community quarantine.

The two are back in Manila and only talked about it on their latest vlog.

"The first thing that came to mind was we needed to kind of escape to a safe haven especially because back in Manila we were staying in a condo unit which was more risky especially with the virus," she said of their decision.

Gwen also noted many people use the elevator in the condo and they weren't sure then if the units and the surroundings could be sanitized consistently. Given that they have a year-old son, Cooper, they opted to be safe than sorry.

So how was life in the province?

Well, David said it was "pretty fun" and "very chill." They talked about bonding as a family, doing household chores together and taking long walsk as a unit.

They added that it was "super easy" adjusting to provincial life. Even now, they go back to the place every weekend.
