Apple Stores all over the world have this luxury presence when stepping inside one: High glass walls, bright white lights, wide spaces, and the Apple devices themselves on a wooden tables.
But in Singapore by the Marina Bay Sands hotel, a new Apple store is going to open soon, aptly called Apple Marina Bay Sands. And it takes shape of an orb, floating on water, and it lights up in the night.
This new store is Apple's 512th in the world. But this design and floating on water marks it the first of its kind. To celebrate, Apple created a unique logo for it.
According to 9to5Mac, "During the day, the store's glass panels reflect the towering skyline of the Downtown Core and motion of the rippling water. At night, the sphere glows with a gentle warmth, evoking the design of traditional lanterns carried during Singapore's Mid-Autumn Festival."
They added: "The pavilion dome narrows to an oculus, allowing unobstructed light to flood in. A birds-eye view of the store resembles a glass iris peering into the sky."
Which sounds like the kind of thing you'd see an art museum. Also, for those in Marina Bay Sands, there's an underwater passage that connects The Shoppes to the Apple store.
These are all the details we know about the upcoming Apple store, for now. Apple said that it will open "soon." If we have guess, it could be sometime during the holidays.
Here's a link from Apple's website teasing the store and it comes with a little, fun video.
