Several members of defunct TV drama series "T.G.I.S." recently came together virtually to celebrate the show's 25th anniversary.
Angelu de Leon wrote on social media: "Happy 25th anniversary, TGIS! Sa mga nagmahal, nagmamahal at bago lang kaming minamahal maraming salamat at ginawa niyo kaming parte ng buhay niyo."
They thanked their producers GMA Network and Viva Films, as well as GMA Heart of Asia, for airing anew old episodes of the show.
"T.G.I.S." premiered on Aug. 12, 1995 on GMA Network. It ran till Nov. 27, 1999 with a total of 233 episodes.
The show was directed by Mark A. Reyes. Also in the cast were Bobby Andrews, Onemig Bondoc, Michael Flores, Ciara Sotto, among others.
In 1997, a "TGIS The Movie" was released by Viva Films and GMA Films.
Michael shared a behind-the-scene look of their recent "zoom party reunion."

Ciara penned an appreciation post, relating how she's "always walking on sunshine" when they're together.
"Happy 25th Anniversary T.G.i.S.!!! Here’s to the old times and the best of new ones... I won’t think it over again, I’ll take you to the top. I try and comprehend you but I’ve got a dyslexic heart! I love you guys so much! I miss you! See you later!!!"
The series' title is derived from the expression "TGIF" with Friday being replaced by Sabado, the Tagalog term for Saturday.
