65 more Filipinos abroad infected with COVID-19


Sixty-five more Filipinos abroad were infected with the COVID-19, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported on Friday.

The DFA said the new COVID-19 cases were from Asia and the Pacific, Europe, and Middle East.

This brings to 9,472 the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases among overseas Filipinos as of July 31.

The number of fatalities remained at 666, as no new deaths were reported in the agency's latest tally.

Meanwhile, 69 migrant Filipinos in the Middle East recovered from the disease, bring the total count of recovered cases to 5,531.
