Toyota launches new Vios


Sporty new look and more features

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) wants to level up Filipinos’ drive with the launch of the new Vios. The best-selling, locally-made passenger car in the Philippines receives a timely update for 2020.

These updates help create a sportier new façade for the vehicle. It’s composed of a glossy black front grille, with new three-tier LED headlights on either side. It also sports more aggressive ducts on the sides that also house the new fog lamps.

Toyota has also expanded the standard equipment list, offering more for buyers no matter what variant they choose. From the base model all the way up to the G Prime, each new Vios comes with a driver and passenger SRS airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution + Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Control and Hill-Start Assist Control. G variants come with a rearview camera, along with the choice of 3 or 7 SRS airbags for certain variants.

G variants offer the most value for discerning buyers with a wide range of equipment. It has 16-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lamps and LED rear combination lamps with line guide. For added convenience, there’s also smart entry and a push start button. Those that opt for the G CVT get more control with paddle shifters and available drive modes (Eco Mode and Sport Mode). G, E and XLE variants also get LED foglamps.

Finding the perfect mix of equipment is also easier has Toyota has streamlined the new Vios lineup into nine available variants – G CVT and M/T, E CVT and M/T, XLE CVT and M/T, XE CVT, and J and J Base in M/T.

Besides the many variants, buyers of the new Vios can enjoy a free periodic maintenance package up to 20,000 KMs, five-year warranty, and one-year comprehensive insurance. Loyal customers may also take advantage of trade-in discounts, while both current car owners and first-time buyers can choose from flexible financing deals. The new Vios will also be made available through the recently introduced car-leasing program, Kinto One.

The Vios legacy

The updates comes at the forefront of TMP’s drive to lead the resurgence of the local auto industry by responding to the Filipinos’ need for quality, efficient, and safe mode of transportation.

The Vios has established its position as the #1 passenger car in the Philippines with almost 320,000 units sold across three generations of the model, for since its debut in the Philippine market in 2003. The new Vios is now available at Toyota dealerships nationwide. It starts at PhP671,000 for the Base MT and goes up to PhP 1,071,000 for the top-of-the-line G CVT. Customers may also inquire and request quotations online through the virtual showroom accessible anytime, anywhere.
