Some offices in Mandaluyong to close for a week of disinfection


The local government of Mandaluyong City announced Saturday that some offices will be temporarily closed for a week to make way for a regular disinfection.

The Mandaluyong City Public Information Office said offices of the Legislative Department and the Secretariat’s Office at the BOC Building will be closed starting Monday (July 27).

Due to the temporary closure, the public is advised to send their concerns through email at [email protected].

They may also give their documents or letters to the assigned security officer on the 3rd

floor if the concerns are addressed to the offices of the City Vice Mayor, City Councilors, and the Secretariat.

As of July 25, Mandaluyong reported 23 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), bringing the total number of active cases to 509.

Meanwhile, two more patients have recovered from the disease for a total of 835 recoveries and 80 deaths.

As of July 25, the city has 1,424 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
