DFA La Union consular office closed as ECQ imposed in San Fernando City

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has suspended operations at the consular office in La Union from July 23 to 31.

In an advisory on Wednesday, the DFA said the suspension of its operations is in view of Executive Order No. 24, Series 2020,  of the province of La Union declaring the city of San Fernando under an enhanced community quarantine from July 23 to 31.

The department said applicants who have prior appointments during these dates will be accommodated from Aug. 3 to 21 during regular office hours.

Applicants in need of emergency consular services may contact the consular office in La Union via phone at (+63) 917-895-2322 / (+63) 949-883-8422 or email at [email protected]

“All other DFA Consular Offices will remain open as usual,” it added.

The DFA appealed for public understanding and cooperation amid the country’s battle against COVID-19.
