Pangasinan records 11 new COVID-19 cases, 1 death


LINGAYEN – Pangasinan has recorded 11 new confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infections, including that of a five-month-old child, and one death, as reported by the Pangasinan Provincial Health Office (PPHO) on Tuesday evening.

With the latest additions, the number of COVID-19 cases in Pangasinan has reached 162, with 33 coming from Dagupan City.

And so far, 106 have recovered, 46 remained confined at hospital, and 10 have died.

Of the 11 new confirmed cases, the youngest was a five-month-old, and the oldest was 67 years old.

The confirmed cases Tuesday have been admitted at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital, Nazareth General Hospital, Urdaneta Sacred Heart Hospital, Region 1 Medical Center, while some were committed to isolation facilities.

The lone fatality was a 69-year-old man from Barangay San Jose, Labrador town.

Those found positive came from Barangay Alac in San Quintin; Barangay Banaoang, Sta. Barbara, Barangay San Felipe in San Nicolas; Barangay Inerangan in San Carlos City; Barangay Careenan, Dagupan City; Barangay Mangcasuy, Binalonan; Barangay Bobonan, Asingan, Barangay Carosucan Norte, Asingan; Barangay Ruiza Longo, San Fabian; Barangay Bonuan Gueset, Dagupan City; and Barangay Villanueva in Bautista.
