Ex-'PBB' housemates Tanner Mata and Maria Fabiana announce engagement

Ex-housemates-turned-lovers Tanner Mata and Maria Fabiana are one step closer to their ever-after.

The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemates announced their engagement over the weekend via their social media accounts, with Maria saying, “I said YES.”

Sharing photos from the surprise proposal, the Brazilian model wrote: “God’s promise to me a long time ago was that I would always feel loved! And today was powerful, I could feel the Holy Spirit moving in that room when I said YES! I said YES today, and I will continue to say YES for the rest of our lives. I love you! I’m yours @tanner_mata.”

Tanner, for his part, wrote: “I know what cloud 9 is now.”

The couple were flooded with congratulatory messages from their fellow “Pinoy Big Brother” housemates, including Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber, Vivoree Esclito, Daniel Matsunaga, and Coraleen Waddell.

Tanner, 25, and Maria, 22, have been known to be close friends even prior to their stint on “Pinoy Big Brother” in 2016, as they were under the same modeling agency.
