'Attack on Titan' actor Haruma Miura dies


"Attack on Titan" actor Haruma Miura died at his Minato ward home in Tokyo. He was 30.

Multiple reports said the Japanese actor  was found unresponsive by his manager on Saturday.
Miura appeared in several movies including "Eien no Zero" (Eternal Zero), "Kimi ni Todoke" (From Me to You), and "Koizora" (Sky of Love).

He earned the Sponichi Grand Prix Newcomer Award in 2019 for his role in "Naoko" and the newcomer award at the 31st Japan Academy Awards for the same role. Miura also appeared in Japanese adaptation of the Broadway musical "Kinky Boots" in which he won the Haruko Sugimura Award in 2017.

The TV star debuted in Japanese film at age seven, appearing in the drama "Agri" in 1997.

Miura was scheduled to appear on TV drama series "Gunjyo Senki" for release in 2021, and a musical kicking off at the year-end.
