And like many graduates in the past months, Tricia, Vice President Leni’s  second daughter, had her share of a different ceremony during the coronavirus pandemic.

She did not walk across a stage during the graduation ceremony. Instead, she just celebrated her accomplishment at the family home, posing in her white coat for a photo, and experiencing the commencement ceremonies quarantined at the family home.

In an Instagram post, Tricia shared the momentous occasion with her family which happened on the eve of her birthday which is on July 18.

“I won’t get to march this year because of the pandemic but they made sure I experience graduation somehow,” she wrote in a post.

The vice president held a graduation picture of Tricia as they posed for a family photo just before the cake and balloons came for the new graduate.

Tricia poked fun at her mother, noting that she was the happiest among them that day.

“Pero si Leni talaga pinakamasaya sa amin dito wahaha (But Leni was really the happiest among us here). No more tuition!!! Love you so much, Mama,” she said.

The vice president also took to social media to greet her second daughter on her birthday. She posted photos of Tricia during a visit to the mothers of Payatas.

She said Tricia celebrated her 26th birthday by ordering 150 food packs from them which she gave to senior citizens and persons with disability in an evacuation center in Tondo, Manila.
